A wonderful and unique experience awaits the students

and the support of local indigenous cultures by a human and responsible

the Mayan people by having amazing and once in a life time experiences.
Explore wild conservation sanctuaries ridding is small boats trough
beautiful rivers full of vegetation that are considered a miracle of
nature where you will have the chance to see alligators, wood peckers,
wild ducks and pelicans. You will experience the real life of ordinary
people and visit a indigenous school located in the middle of a small
jungle and be a witness of the "out side the box" education. You will also
visit Kakchiquel and Quekchi tribes that during the conquest of the
Spaniards fourth great wars and left antique buildings behind. Finally,
you will also enjoy the Mayan world at its best by visiting the heart of
the civilization in Tikal. Discover this memorable experience with our

Day 1: Arrival to Guatemala -BLD You will be welcomed Tropical
Adventures, transferred to your hotel in Guatemala City. Night at the
hotel.
Day 2: Pacaya Volcano -
Antigua Guatemala -BLD Breakfast at
the hotel and check out. Transfer to the Pacaya volcano
where we will climb all the way to the top in about 2.5 ½
hours and witness a beautiful landscape (Soft hike)
box lunch on the top of the volcano. Transfer to Antigua. Night at the
hotel.
Day 3: Antigua -BLD  Breakfast. -Visit
of the Antigua city - The Spanish Colonial style permeates every part of
the town: its houses, churches, squares, parks and ruins, also its
traditions and folklore as well. Antigua is a city of charm and color
where you can see and buy an overwhelming variety of attractive, handmade
products that honor the traditions of generations of artisans - Night at
the hotel.
Day 4: Antigua - Lago Atitlan
-BLD Breakfast – 8h This
morning we will visit an educative center of coffee’s conversion, from the
cultivation to the tasting, then an interpretation center of the Mayan’s
culture – Lunch – PM We will go in search of the Altiplano’s high
plateaus,'' Atitlan Lake''. Supper and overnight in Panajachel.

Day 5: Lago
Atitlan -BLD  Breakfast - Cruise on one
of the most beautiful lake in the world with greenish blue water. First we
will stop over at Santiago Atitlán, to discover a very picturesque little
Indian village. Visit of the village and the market. – Suite of our visit
by boat for a bathing into
the lake. – Lunch – Continuation by boat to a reserve. Excursion on path
and suspension bridges, observation of the subtropical forest, ape
spiders, coatis, waterfall – Free time inside the market - Night at
Panajachel Optional: Canopy

Day 6: Panajachel –
Chichicastenango
– Guatemala City
-BLD Breakfast- Transfer to
Chichicastenango where you will admire the biggest handicraft market of
all Guatemala, you will be able to purchase hand made clothing and
articles, local pottery, textiles and many other objects that will be the
perfect souvenirs. Excursion to the sacred hill of Pascual
Abaj, where we will witness a Mayan ceremony -Lunch- Transfer to
Guatemala City. –Supper - Night in Guatemala City. 19h Disco.
Day 7: Guatemala –
Quirigua – Rio Dulce
-BLD Breakfast- Transfer toward
the Caribbean Shores –Lunch- Time off at the pool Visit to the
archaeological site of Quiriguá. Transfer
to Puerto Barrios, -Supper- Night at Rio Dulce.
Day 8: Rio Dulce -BLD Breakfast- Jungle
expedition for a 20 mile long boat trip that
will take us trough the natural reserve of Chocon Machacas. We will
observe seagulls and pelicans and many other tropical birds, as well as
turtles, alligators and frogs. Free time at the beach or
soccer
–lunch- We continue on boat towards a rural school that is in the middle
of a tropical forest where you will have another intercultural exchange
with a Quekchi community. Supper- Night at Rio Dulce.
Day 9: Rio Dulce – Flores
-BLD  Breakfast- Transfer to
Flores. Lunch - Boat trip
to an exotic animal orphanage where we will learn about animals
in danger of extinction and how to preserve them. –Supper- Night at
hotel.
Day 10: Flores - Tikal -
Guatemala City -BLD  Breakfast- Transfer to the
archaeological site of Tikal -You will
visit of the ancient city of Tikal, where you will admire the sacred Mayan
temples and have the opportunity to climb most of the pyramids to have a
panoramic view of the jungle –Lunch- Transfer to airport for you flight to
Guatemala City –Supper- Night at hotel.
Day 11 Hotel – Airport
-B Breakfast- Transfer to the
airport for your international flight.
